An Overview
The Costa Rica Retreat
Nosara is a laid-back coastal town on Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, known for its beautiful beaches, surf-hippie culture, and deep wellness roots. With a small, international community and a slower, nature-centered rhythm of life, Nosara draws surfers, yogis, meditators, and travelers seeking simplicity, health, and presence—making it an ideal setting for retreat, restoration, and reconnecting with what matters most.

Travel Info
International Travel can be stressful, but Michelle will help makes things as easy as possible, including help arranging van rides to and from airport/ hotel. Many of our retreat participants are folks traveling alone…Michelle will host a Zoom Orientation before the retreat to help get people connected who might be on the same flights or who arrive at similar times in Costa Rica.
Here’s what we recommend:
Flying in to Liberia, Costa Rica. From airport to Bodhi Tree is an easy 2-3 hour van ride.
Michelle will collect everyone’s flight info, and then if people are either traveling on the same flight or get in at similar times, she’ll introduce you, so that you can connect at the airport and find the shuttle vans together.
The retreat begins with your arrival on Saturday Dec. 5,
and ends with your departure on Saturday Dec. 12.
We're happy to answer any travel questions you have.
